WHAT WE ARE FOCUSED ON
PANIC ATTACK & ANXIETYEveryone may experience an episode of tachycardia, lack of air and dizziness. But the panic attack is something more. It is a fear that can completely invalidate the people daily life and can hardly be understood by those who never had it before. Our way of intervention allows to act on the problem in a short time, bringing the person to regain possession of his own life. We also work on cases of generalized anxiety which becomes problematic when it takes over and tends to block the actions.
PTSDPost-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), most of the time, is developed by all those who had experienced trauma, big or small. It can be an event that took place in a remote or recent past, it can be an accident, one or more episodes of violence or an event linked to a natural or health catastrophe.
Very often the traumatic memory tends to decrease going on, but in some cases it remains present with the same strength day after day, even for several years. We intervene on the trauma, and its implications, creating a targeted strategy for putting back the past into the past so the client can has back his present life and enjoy it.
DEPRESSIONDepression diagnosis can be complex. Definitions and meanings to describe this problem are many (eg "depressive crisis", "bipolar disorder", "postpartum depression") and many people come to us with a diagnosis that is still not well defined, sometime totally incorrect. Our therapy to help clients with this disorder starts from techniques aimed at the gradual reactivation of the person's resources. Furthermore, when drug treatment is already underway for a very severe or chronic depression, psychotherapy associated with antidepressant drugs proves more effective than drug therapy alone.

OCD OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE DISORDERSometime it can happen that you find yourself out making gestures or having thoughts without the will to do it. In some cases these attitudes may be negligible, but when they start to be intrusive and take more and more space during the day, things get complicated. These are repetitive thoughts or actions, with or without a ritualized behavior, such as washing hands repeatedly or checking an action or think several times about that. In these cases, always through the brief strategic approach, we intervene by adopting specific protocols which, gradually, aim to destructure the problem and lead to its resolution.
EATING DISORDERSEating disorders are characterized by alterations of eating habits and an excessive focus and concern about body image, especially in relation to the weight and shape of the body. These disorders develop mainly during adolescent period and it used to mainly affect female, but there are many male cases as today. In a society full of stereotypes and prejudices, especially through the social network channels and media, it is essential to take action when the first alarm bells showed up.
INTERNET DEPENDENCYInternet is a great resource, indispensable for having updated infos, keeping in touch on social networks or being productive with smart working, shopping online and having fun in many different ways. Using the net is therefore not a problem, until one becomes dependent on it: in fact there is a real psychological pathology called Internet Addiction Disorder which is due to the abuse of the Internet and which shows the same symptoms as drug addicts. Very often, those affected are unable to recognize the problem, that's why, usually, the treatment of these patients takes place with the family members collaboration, through indirect therapy as well.
